That reminds me,when my children were little hubby made a earth oven in the garden...what fun :)

Cool! Does that work along the same principle? Kinda like a hay oven?

I have a moral quandary. I would never be racist or homophobic or take pleasure from someone's misfortunes, but I find myself unable to accept those people who suffer from Troutism. This frightening ailment (latin:Pisces Tescum Paininthebumium) manifests itself in one the assistants at my local large branch of Mr T, and unfortunately, even though said person suffers, I am unable to resist the temptation to find ways to annoy her.

If I am using a voucher or coupon, I deliberately hunt out her till knowing that there will be much clashing and banging and gnashing of teeth when the coupons are espied. Poor thing , I know that this is a congenital disorder but I still take a delight in observing her antics.

Last week was a prime example. I had coupons to the value of £19 to be deducted from a bill of £30. The poor thing nearly had a fit - but I got a perverse sense of pleasure.

    Am I a wicked person?
    thats not wicked at all.

wasnt it you that wrote lovely ,funny letters to people at tesco during DTD? they had me smiling so much.

they are the 12 pack, and it has "win a million clubcard points on the front" They last about 4 mins in our store as people grab them from the cage.

  • Oh for crying out loud! I am neither homophobic or racist. I can be opinionated and there is a fine line between the two. I did not mean it in a homophobic way, if I did then believe me my post would have made it far more obvious. Now can we drop it and get back to how the board should be?

Happy - don't feed the trolls:D we like things the way they are on this thread with nobody (normally) arguing etc. If people don't like it they are free to push off and read elsewhere:D

:hello: Ok, so I decided to come back, and after reading all your lovely posts yesterday, I think I'll stick around (well def on this post anyway).

You are all such lovely people and I wanted to thank you all for all of your kind words, they really picked me up yesterday and put a smile on my face :).

Oh and don't worry HappyChappy, I don't really do the friend thing either, I seem to have a bad habit of upsetting people, so I stick to just a few close friends that understand me and accept me as I am.

I wanted to post yesterday, but after a late start I had to go and look after my dad so my mum could go to work. It wasn't great as the meds he is on at the mo are making him really argumentative, but it gave me a chance to catch up on all of your posts.

It was quite late when I left so, to avoid further annoying my OH and in an attempt to restore my bodyclock in preperation for the dreaded day when I have to return to work, I thought I'd better try and have an early night (via Mr T's of course to collect my 12 TCO's :j, it would have been rude not to).

Anyway I must dash now as I still need to try and get my bacon roll and chocolate smile on route to Mr T's for dairlea dunkers to further appease my OH.

Oh and the cod liver oil. Now where did I put that voucher?.......

I'll pop back later to catch up and post if I find anything useful on my trip.

Sorry i've done it again, I'm not very good at this brief message thing

p.s I hope OH is the correct term for other half? I still haven't quite got the hang of the abbreviations for all the different family members.

Guilty as charged madam. Thank you for your kind words - I am pleased that you like my little efforts.

  • So you're more of a Troutophile then Terry?
Personally I try to avoid them, but can see the appeal of trout baiting.:D

Maybe this could become a new sport for the forthcoming Olympics and Phillip could be the adjudicator:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
