I'll swap you one high class poem for a blackcurrant jelly with 2 months of sell by date
Sugar free or ordinary? I'd need to hunt through the stash to see what I have :jHappyChappy84 wrote: »I'm all for people doing the odd swap but clearing the shelves of something you don't want/need to swap later or sell is a bit off.
I haven't got anything apart from one camera from the recent electrical sale and I'm more than happy. I would love a video camera but I'm not posting begging posts, if one happens to come my way then so be it.
In all honesty I would have loved a Flip to record videos of the boys. My folks are getting me a camera for Xmas so that'll do a good enough job but a dedicated camcorder would have been great. I have a laptop & a TouchPad so no begging for a notebook. The boys have toys to see them through at least 2 special occassions each so much though I would have loved a Rescue Mater, I don't need it. All I really need is a deep fat fryer and a toaster for my new pad plus some furniture. I've done a lot of leg work over the last few months without needing to resort to begging.
Oh dear god you should see the weather here. The rain is blowing in horizontally, the blinds are shaking in the wind (yes the ex never managed to fix the draughty windows in the 4 years he was here), I've just heard the bath panel pop off (yet another job that never got fixed) so the next thing is waiting for the ceiling to start leaking again (2 years and counting since the leak started and it's still not been fixed). Get me out of here :mad:0 -

But as you say, it is a good deal, the only thing that would worry me is, their customer service is next to none now, Im afraid it will get worse as they know youve committed yourself to them for a whole 12 months... My thoughts only
To be honest I've never had a problem with TalkTalk. When I first signed up to them it took weeks to get sorted but I then found out it was due to BT playing silly b u g g e r s. The one and only time I had a fault on my line was fixed the same day as an engineer was in the area, had it been BT and I would have been told "next week" even if there was a BT engineer in the area. The odd thing is, TT engineers are BT engineers, just in plain white vans.
I also had a problem setting up my Apple AirPort Extreme and a quick question on the TT support forums and I was sorted, they even ran a line test and increased my speed so I'm not complaining.0 -

If you don't have what they want I could swap you a sugar free for a full fat and vice versa.:rotfl:
How long until you move?0 -

Hi Bargainspotter.
It was an out-of-date yellow SEL that had the wine at half-price.
Bought 6 bottles and they scanned at full price. The SEL was quickly taken down when I reported to CS - so no good for anyone else.0 -

LOL I have pretty much every variety of jelly, custard & rice, it's just a matter of figuring out which hiding place they're in. Currently they're stashed across 4 locations in the house as I ran out of room
Not sure when I'm moving yet. Personally I'd love to move tomorrow (or maybe today but I need to time pack up my stuff) but the ex is paying the mortgage and there's nothing suitable for rent near my folks. I think I have until the end of the ex's rental agreement which is the end of Jan as I can't afford the mortgage on here (not that my name is even on it anyway) and I'm not sharing the house with the ex.0 -

Nice of him to continue letting you live there though.0 -
Thank you to the OP (I can’t remember which thread I read this from, but will post a link when I’ve found the post).
Tesco 12 Piece Solar Dinner Set, SEL £26.00 scanning at £2.80
As my local Metro has no price check scanner, I decided to chance it and go through the manned till. The SA noticed the price, checked the box all over, then smiled at me. “Are there any more left?” she asked. When I replied, “One”, she asked if I could hide it for her to buy after her shift which I agreed.
So I drove to another local Metro on my route home as I had wanted another set (one for my parents and one for my mil), where there were loads being stacked up on a promotional shelf. This time I went through the self service till, but it beeped and asked for verification from the SA. Luckily she was too busy talking to notice the price.
