Tesco DISCUSSION, grabbits and misprices thread 11+

I was trying to be productive today with the intention of tidying up my s h i t hole of a flat but the builders are in next door and they are too noisy so I took a wander to my local T's and I'm so glad I did.

1. Wombled a receipt for 182 points.

2. Had a £2 off WYS £20 from Mr. S yesterday so I intended to get some printer ink but they didn't have the correct one so I thought I'd get some gin. Wandered round to the booze aisle and Bombay Sapphire was £25 for a litre yet the 500ml bottles were reduced from £11.79 to £10 so two of them got threw in the trolly.

Sadly the candles were scanning at £6 so they got ditched and I totally forgot to look for the chargers.

I got home to a message on my answer phone from RBS credit card fraud department asking me to ring them back ASAP. I don't like using the phone but as it was from the fraud department and they said it was a matter of urgency I thought I better return the call. The guy I spoke too insisted in going through 3 months worth of statements with me as it had been flagged up on that system that I had a lot of Tesco purchases and they wanted to check that they were all mine.:o:o:rotfl:

Just came back from another interview and still have lots of things to sort out at home so no time to look for the nearest T and also my bike is STILL in the boot of my car as I don't have a lock for it yet... what a mess... but it's getting better

Polly Pocket is definitely still scanning at full price!
We got one today along with a Mega Blocks Fire Truck which scanned at £20 with half price sticker on as £12.50! So DTD of £39 altogether
We also got a George Forman grill for £5,
the Zhu Zhu baby outfits we've been after for so long! for 60p,
two little coats made for babies, but mum bought them for my sisters dolls, £3.50 each from £8,
two little figurines of Zingzillas for SEL, 50p from £5.57,
some Finish Quantum 40 dishwasher tablets for £3.57,
some Ocean Pals Moondough still scanning at £2! ,
2 of the rechargable battery things, SEL £20, scans at £2,
a tin of Quality Street with the £1 off coupon out of the Price Drop leaflet,
and a Moxie Girl, which when I scanned said 'please contact a member of staff' so we just put it in the trolley to see what they said at the till, but due to being bothered about the dtd toys going through, me and mum forgot to see what the sa put it through at, and when we checked our receipt when we got home it wasnt even on, but the moxie girl was in our bag!


- all in all, rather a productive 'study day' off college
although, the car needs mot'ing so we had to go on the bus! We never catch buses, ever and we looked ridiculous not knowing what to ask the driver for: we even missed our stop on the way there! ROTFL

Just back from T's,
Got one of the hoses for £1.25, 3 x airwick candles @75p each, a tin of QS £3.50 (with voucher) and lovely Mr T paid me £1 to take 6 x 2ltr bottles of lilt home :T :T :T
