cheap terracotta pots?

As usual I've left it a few weeks too late for Wilko's garden sale etc, but need some more terracotta pots (big and small) does anyone have any cheap options for buying right now? (cheaper than garden centres?)
:AA/give up smoking (done) :)

Not for right now but we're nearly at the summer clearout period for Homebase etc. LY I picked up plenty of big terracottas for 75% off and better.

But ISTR it was more like end October.

Join your local freecycle, I see job lots of terracotta pots every few weeks on there.
  • Remember that for terracotta pots to stay out all year its preferable to get one which does not have a return at the top Think milk bottle shape and how they break when frozen.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Pound stretcher always have them pretty cheap, normally 2 for a certain price.

And this year I've even come away with decent sized one from Asda and Morrisons for £1-2 each. So keep a look out!

Try your local tip. We've got a big courtyard area at the back filled with pots and pots and pots - not one of them cost more than 50p for regular teracotta pot style, and up to a pound at the most for some lovely proper planter type ones - all very eclectic, too!
