Car - Extended Warranty

Hi all - not sure where to post this - hope someone can help me please!

I have a 3 year old Micra and been offered extendedy warranty for £199 for 1 year.

There seems a lot that isn't covered in it - are extended warranties worth it?

Any advice is much appreciated.

The best answer is that some are and some aren't

To be honest that does sound quite pricey for just one year and if there's a lot that isn't covered (more than likely the things that will go wrong). Also if you're car has been serviced well and is only 3 years old then you "should" be ok.

Thank you that does help - I did think it seemed a bit steep. I have checked around and there are others which cover wear and tear but this one doesn't. I think I'm going to have to compare some side by side, but its so difficult because the info is in so many different formats!
