Would welcome some feedback
My Father completed a Claim pack from Simplicity,and he was awarded 7k from LLoyds TSB..Simplicty are now claiming 25% of the award.My Father is 69 and didnt read the form or the smallprint properly...Is there anything that can be done to reduce the amount he now has to pay..?

Your father employed a company to put a stamp on an envelope for him and agreed to pay them 25% (plus VAT probably as its a vatable service). They did their job and he now has to pay them.
If he cannot be bothered to read the contract he is signing then that is his own fault. His age is irrelevant. 69 is not old.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). PPI claims are largely born about by Concealed or hidden charges accepted by Persons who cant be bothered to read the Contract they have signed...the irony isnt lost on me.As for my Father he now knows the error of his ways..thanks for the sympathetic advice0 -

It can get very frustrating for those of us here when people keep coming on and telling us they have been stitched up for a second time.
