long term travel insurance for people already travelling

Hi we are currently 2 years into a three year round the world trip and need to renew our insurance. We found out the hard way that our last insurer did not cover us as we had been out of the uk for more than 6 months when we took out the policy.

So the question is does anyone know of a policy that covers people already overseas at the start of the policy

yes I think you can get what you want but have tom make some efforts and search online so that you can get the best according to your needs and requirements

I've always found True Traveller to be pretty good with awkward insurance questions. just look google them. They are in London

We had a similar problem and were halfway through a trip when we found out that we couldn't get insurance through our travel agent. True Traveller managed to get us covered again, so would definitely recommend. Give them a call - can't remember the number, but you'll find it on google and I'm sure it was a freephone number (didn't help us much because we were in Nepal! But they do reply very quickly to emails and called us back!)
