E586 mifi networking / sharing

Ok then, there is probably a simple answer to this but ive just upgraded from a huawei E585 mobile broadband modem to a E586 mobile broadband modem and im having problems connecting 2 laptops and my android phone together.
I can connect to the wifi and use the internet fine on all the devices so its not faulty, my problem is sharing stuff between them.
With the E585 it was simple, turn it on, connect all the devices, join my homegroup on the 2 laptops and I could share away, setting up my android phones sd card as a network drive was also simple, use an app called samba filesharing, set it up, map a network drive in windows and its done and dusted.
With the new E586 this has gone out the window, I try to connect the laptops and I get whats in the following pic, again the same when I try to map my android as a network drive.

Now being an intelligent soul :rotfl: ive come to the conclusion that its some setting in the E586 that I need to change or add that was on by default on the E585, but i havent got a clue what to change to make the thing work.
The E596 didnt come with any kind of manual, just a quick start guide thats about as much use as a chocolate teapot, and the 3 technical support was just as good and advised me over and over again to switch it off and on and it would magically work.
So has anybody got one of these devices that knows what I need to change / unblock / modify etc etc to allow me to share my stuff.

go to web configuration and set AP Isolation to Off.
I got mine from three.co.uk, there are some screenshots, you can just search on that page for AP isolation. Add http:// to this link:
support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.dll/,/?New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Device,varset_pid=4950,varset_cid=5166,Case=obj(5161)
I'm struggling to access the microSD card. Did you manage to access your microSD card from an computer? I did own the previous model E585, where you did access it via webinterface.
The webinterface of E586 does not have any menu for micro SD cards. In case you got access to your microSD card, please post your Software version here. The Software version of my E586 is 21.321.07.00.21 (you will find it in the webinterface).
thanks for the info about the android samba app, sounds interesting0 -
I got one of these devices today - they're great little things in terms of speed... but I have the same trouble with the microSD card. I put my microSD card in (yes, the right way up!) but there's no dashboard item to configure it in any way.
All the advertising literature suggests it should have this feature
