That would happen if they thought there was intent. You signed off everything else so there's proof there wasn't intent.

One thought.
Though it seems unlikely that you never breached the 100 pounds a week threshold, even after allowable expenses, it's possible that some weeks you earned less than this, after them.
It may be worth looking carefully for any weeks when your total income less allowable expenses was under the 100/week threshold. On those weeks, you were entitled.
