How long to get paid out

After an initial wait of about 4 months from a claim against Direct Line. I was contacted by RBS offering me £467.00.

This was August 24th.

I accepted the offer.

I havn't heard anythind since.

There is only a general telephone number to call which no one answers.

How long does it normally take to get paid out ?.

Thanks

    Hi there

I think on average it takes about 21 to 28 days, but as there is backlogs some are taking longer, hopefully someone who have dealt with these will post up with more contact details for you, good luck and well done on your success!

  • According to someone called "Jason" on another thread it depends upon whether the loan has been repaid or not, if it has the money comes to you but if the loan account is still active the money goes against the outstanding amount so you won't hear anything until you get a letter telling you the new loan amount.
  • I spoke to them, and its 28 working days from the date that they receive your acceptance letter back.
