Why, when HMG have warned the utilities to make everything more transparent is there no simple database of every tariff thats on offer?
i want the cheapest 3 tier economy 7 tariff, youd think i was asking for the location of the Holy Grail
come on give it up!

There is already...
If you have internet access, put your annual kilowatt figures into a consumer focus accredited comparison site.
It will provide you with the cheapest tariffs available for E7 and enough tariff info to be getting on with, plus also prices for fixed tariffs.
Good luck.

not as easy as that with NSR and multi-rates though, and weve no gas, oddly most suppliers think everyones dual fuel

indeed, though some substitute a daily charge for the initial higher rate
so i phoned Bgas, EDF, Npower and Scotpower for tarrifs, they dont like to reveal actual unit prices - and i know why now.
a new company called OVO is the cheapest (for me), has anyone any feedback on them yet?

Another possible definition of 3 tier is an NSC contract - suppliers charge dual rate for NSC supply, then the Economy7 rate? just a thought.
As said above, I'd consider OVO. They're saving me over £200 versus Scottish Power (and similar versus EDF) who are allegedly the next cheapest supplier in Eastern region for my usage.

Surely you want the cheapest though, irrespective of how they charge? That's why comparison sites include them all.
They will filter out the single rate ones (including Primary & secondary only rates) if you need E7
See the other thread on OVO for my experience to date on them."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
