Understanding 0% Credit Cards

in Credit cards
Hi, I have just found this site and I have been looking into the 0% interest credit cards but I don't quite understand it and I am very weary about getting into debt so I thought I would ask first. I am thinking about getting the 15 month Tesco card to take out roughly £400. If I do that, I have 15 months to pay it back? or do I have to pay some of it every month and as long as I pay back before 15 months? sorry if that doesn't make sense.
Cheers!

do you already have a credit card?
if not then you are unlikely to get a 0% CC as they are normally given to people with proven ability to manage CCs well
however
you don't 'take out' 400 in cash; you maybe spend it (called purchases) or you can balance transfer it (BT) but you don't take it out on a 0% card
you would then have to make regualr payments each month not less than the minimum amount. to avoid interest you must pay it all back within 15 months0 -
ahhh ok i see. that clears up everything, thanks!0
