Woo! Free listing weekend on eBay this weekend! :T :TRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
MFW 2020: 1 Jan £92903.90 ~ OP £536.80/£500
MFW 2021: 1 Jan £89281.21 ~ OP £404.62/£500

Feeling quite MSE after my shopping trip this morning.
Butchers was more than I thought (£11.24 on us, £16.20 on the cats *) but the chops I ordered were lots bigger than I expected so will do 2 meals not 1. Found a market stall that does chicken necks - £1.49/kg, but cash only
No tv bracket - out of stock. Price has been reduced though so hoping I can get one in the sale.
Wellies for Lumpy. Also a roll of wrapping paper that is blue with silver circles on it that look like bubbles - only 50p for 5m, shall use some for the birthday party, possibly hat decoration like Peonie suggested.
Gerbil food, on offer so got 3 bags, plus plastic plant for tank, 20% off and £5 gift card = £5.40. :j
Sold a plant plus leftover of a 1L bottle of easy carbo for £8.50, postage £2.48. Also posted snails.
Got some more tubs for lunchboxes, some radiator hanging airer things (meaning can dry more clothing by the radiators rather than in the dryer) and some shelf brackets to put up more garage shelves.
Best thing was some Christmas decs. Last few years we've had red and silver, but we decorated the living room here brown and blue, so I gave the red baubles etc to my sister and have bought blue to replace. 75% off, so cost a grand total of £3.25 for over 100 bits :T
*edited to add: actually, having thought about it, this isn't as  as I thought, because it's for 10 days not a week. I aim to spend about £12 a week on the cats.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Just checked our CC, this month will come in at £633.65 which means an underspend of £165 for bills at the end of this month, which means we'll reach our buffer so the month after any excess can start going to savings/ops :j :j :j :j :jRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

I lied, I listed 25 items yesterday not 26. 5 more added this morning, and 5 items now have bids
I'll put my hands up now, and say I'm a complete eBay addict:o:o

So today we've received our official paperwork which states that from Jan 2012 we'll be overpaying by £55.06 pcm :j:j:j
Added together over the course of 2012 this will tot up to: £660.72
So to make my 2012 £1500 op target I need to find: £839.28
Less the £115.36 I already have in the pot, means: £723.92 left to find this year! And we're only mid January! Haha! :rotfl:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Thankyou Tilly
It probably seems very small to some, but I'm really chuffed with where we are and will be even more chuffed if we manage to make these overpayments this year.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Hi Caz,I really don't think it matters what the sums are, it's the commitment and desire which count. Good luck again.

You are quite right of course, but sometimes I lose sight of how relative these things are *rueful smile* am reminding myself at the moment to remember where we've come from, so I can set my focus accordingly.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
