My millenium New Years resolution was to give praise to companies who gave really good service - in the same way as I would to those companies giving bad. I wondered how many of you actually let a company/organisation know when they're doing something right? I've had a great response and two companies said I was the first person ever who contacted them in that way. We need to encourage good practices and theres nothing better than someone saying "well done".

I did this only last week. I had a lovely, helpful bus driver who not only carried my daughter's buggy off the bus but help her while I put it up.
Part of the reason I like to praise people is when I worked for 192 years ago I would quite often go out of my way to help people & I never got a thank you (apart from at the time of the call) from the customer yet others would get thank yous for just doing their job (it did make me wonder why I bothered but I'm just that sort of person).0 -
Hi there
We have just used the stay and park at the Thistle and it was 5*. Great hotel and breakfast. On the road after landing in about 30 minutes.
