However are you sure you will be able to afford to repay the whole loan and charges and all of next month's usual expenses and bills from your monthly earnings from your new temporary job? If you are in any doubt then don't take out the loan.
I would certainly be asking other half or selling things etc before considering using one of these companies. And like dabooka, I would much rather my OH asked me than went to this type of company. In fact I'd be very annoyed if they went to this sort of company without asking me for help first.

I think I would be able to, yes. Obviously I would do my calculations before applying for a PDL. Well, my other half has helped me out many times before and he is unemployed at the moment so he is having to us his savings to live so thats why I'd feel awful asking him for money again.

I guess I just want a quick fix....I need the money by the 1st October to pay for my loan.

Remembaer that next month you will have to pay your loan again, as well as the PDL company, as well as the interest they will charge... you're up for a double whammy next month.

This is the simple fact people trip over, they overestimate how much they will have next month but by then it is too late - you're stuck in the PDL trap, you may need another to repay this one.

If you do nothing else, at least discuss it with your other half first. If he is like me he will be less than pleased if he discovers this the hard way (and loses even more of his savings getting you out of it).

so you use the pdl to pay the loan on 1st Oct

then how do you payback the pdl and the next months installment of the loan?

Taking out a loan to pay a loan is sheer madness, seriously, if you go down the paydayloan route you are going into future meltdown. You'll owe the original loan next month plus your pdl - how on earth do you think you will be able to pay both? Can you ring your original loan company and ask to pay a reduced amount this month?

Well I get paid over £800 a month so it shouldn't be a problem?

Never is when taking one out, it's what everyone thinks.

You've got loans etc already - I think a good compromise would be to ask your OH to help you out pay him back over a month or 2 what it would have cost you so he gets a little extra and your 1st clear month treat him and yourself to a nice meal at home.

    Hi all!

Haven't posted on here for a while so here goes!

I am struggling a bit this month to pay bills due to not having a job. I have just got a temporary role and I started today so I am happy about that.

There is no way I can borrow any money from anymore family members so I am thinking of turning to quick quid? Do they consider anyone who has a bit of bad credit? For example, I have missed a couple of loan payments and a credit company was chasing me for some money a while back but correspondance has stopped and they haven't chased me for a good 5 months now.

Is it worth me trying to apply, even for just £150? (Which is what I need!)

    Thanks in advance :)

I've got no knowledge of this particular payday lender but I do have a surprisingly long list of body parts I would rather dip in acid and then insert into a mincing machine while its running at full capacity than use *any* of them.
