NPower Bill Saver Tariff
I currently get my gas and electricity from British Gas on the Online Saver 5 tariff with Energy Smart which suits me as I only pay monthly for the energy I use. I just worked out what I pay per year and went to the Energyhepline website to see if there was a cheaper tariff. The NPower tariff is cheaper but it's on a fixed monthly direct debit, and I fear I could lose out if they set the DD too high, and of course there's no way of knowing what figure they will set it at. Not sure what to do now?

the most accurate way to compare is by using your annual energy useage - call BG to get those figures .0
