I agreed to one of the companies doing this for me. :mad:I thought it would be far easier. ha ha! well done to your site for all the templates etc.
But these lawyers have doggedly communicated with Black Horse who have been outrageously dragging their feet. We signed the papers repeatedly to jump through the hoops BH was stalling with.
We are now at the stage of appealing to the ombudsman because BH rejects our claim.
The truth of our claim is that when I got our loan for £5000 5 yrs ago i was desperate. I couldnt get a loan anywhere so was delighted to get one form them. It was done over the phone and I know I said I didnt want payment protection because I had been stung before. This is the only part I remember. I dont even remember any of the details of the loan ( you are getting the picture of how !!!!less I can be but improving all the time!!! :A
Now, was paying £225 monthly, i thought this was over 3 years....fair enough. But turns out it was over 5. eeeeeek. i have paid £13500 I am thrilled to say. i lost my original policy so havent checked (was actually a bit scared of how much of an idiot I was)
I will get back to you all with outcome and hope someone learns from my stupid careless mistakes

Good luck Jac with the reclaiming.

How long ago did you take out the loan, if within the last 6 years, or settled within this timescale, its possible they will still hold so much of the details on files.

If your having problems with the claimc company, I believe you can contact the dept who deals with these at Ministry of Justice "claims regulation"
