Job Interview with Tesco... what to wear?

    The suit worked as I'm pleased to say I got the job..
    After a half hour 'informal' chat with the dept manager, a quick tour and a meet the staff, got offered job on the spot! Induction Friday, and start Sunday.... Needless to say, I'm chuffed!!! :j

    OP - Definitely definitely go suited and booted! You can hardly ever overdress for an interview! It'll be worth it :)


    I wrote it that way on purpose, :D ( english was never my strong point )

    The D/W went for an interview at a local Tesco superstore
    after reading various posts on various forums, about getting told there and then or same day etc
    she got told they'd be in touch within 7-10 days
    despite someone else in the group interview stating her friend got an alomost immeadite start
    anyhow 10 days is up still not herd a bean, so frustrating waiting

    have called into the store as they have changed there phone number, got told there still shitfing through the applications
    again so frustrating

    The D/W just got a phone call, again should of been called eith Monday afternoon or yesterday, anyway

    she starts work tomorrow, get in there you beauty

    Well done you!. Do you mind me asking what the pay is roughly?.
    I'm tempted to go for a part time Retail Merchandising job at my local Morrisons but I was quite surprised that the pay was advertised at £5.98-£6.16phr:eek: thought the pay would be better for this kind of job!
