Please Help Me, Please.find My Proof Of No Claims.

hello everyone, i am new to this.
2 and half years ago i had a serious accident in my home and didnt come back to my home in all that time i was to ill.
well now i am back and trying to find my 9yrs no claims bonuses, but no matter what insurerers i phone they deny i had my car insurance wih them.
i have only a couple of months to find them and if i dont i will have lost 9yrs worth of no claims.
does anyone out there know how i can find them PLEASE!
I am registered disabled and wont be able to afford the full insurance they quote.
its breaking my heart and hurting me because of their attitudes.

what about writing to them as a letter of complaint? or the Financial Ombudsman?
I know a few years back I had to ring around a few ins companies and track down my husband's proof of NCB. I did manage to get copies and piece together a few years.0
