All kingstons come with their own encryption software built in (should you choose to use it) otherwise you can use truecrypt (which is free and very good!) here: http://www.truecrypt.org/

Interesting point and as I use a Mac at home but would probably want to access data from a PC at some time anyone know of a solution?

Can anyone recommend a 4gb pendrive that has a fast transfer speed, from the above list? I purchased a freecom 4gb databar a few weeks back and its painfully slow!

Bought a DVD player at the weekend with usb connection - the drive makes it very easy to move movies and music between the computer and the tv - great for catching up with "lost"

Bought a 4gb Kingston pen from Ebay around £20 - returned as there were unreadable & undeletable files on it - got a replacement and the same thing has just happened, weird files as soon as I transfer data....it's going back again and would like a refund
