I posted a couple of weeks ago about a great offer a website I use had on a 1GB flash pen for £3.98.
This week they've got a 2GB USB pen drive on offer for only £7.50
Postage starts from a couple of quid. Is it a good price or has someone seen a better deal?0 -

just a word of warning to those of you who may keep sensitive data on your memory sticks, to use some form of encryption so if you ever loose the stick whoever finds it is unable to sift through your files etc...
All kingstons come with their own encryption software built in (should you choose to use it) otherwise you can use truecrypt (which is free and very good!) here: http://www.truecrypt.org/ummm...0 -
i recieved mine from dvd.co.uk yesterday, got my wireless transmitor gadget from svp also today so filled my pen drive with mp3s and had it playing through my car stereo..0

The Amazon one in post #97 will work on Win98 BUT it was a sod to find the right drivers.quidsinquentin wrote: »Maybe a silly question, but will these work with Win 98???
I tried downloading the drivers from the website on the card but they didn't work, then tried googling for "Buffalo" and then they didn't work, then I found some very indistinct lettering on the case of the drive, Googled that, went to the website - which was all in Chinese except for the model number, clicked on what I thought was the download button then installed it getting prompts in Chinese all of the way.
I've probably agreed to sell a kidney0
