Dispute with Next Directory

Hello,
Grateful for any advice on an issue i am having with Next Directory.
During the sale i ordered many many items some of which were delivered and either kept or returned. Of the many items one item failed to arrive though it was on an invoice and for two items i just receieved empty boxes. I contacted Next straitght away to advise them of this and they are now conducting a 'Security investigation'. I have been charged for the items.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so what was the outcome? Ami i liable to pay for the items that did not arrive or not in the boxes? Can i challenge the 'Security investigation' if it does not find in my favour? Are next regulated by the FSA?
Any advice gratefully received.
Regards
M

Write them a letter asking for the money back for the goods you have not received.
Can you challenge the security investigation? Of course you can.
What do you want a regulator for?
If they won't give you a refund, then consider going to the small claims court.0 -
Something similar did happen to us.
Ordered 2 light fittings.
One arrived.
Was horrible so sernt it back.
They said 2 arrived at the same time.
They did an investigation and said the delivery goon said they delivered both.
Has to kick up a big fuss stating why would I only sent one back and point out theat is was cheap and we have never had an issue before.
Eventually they accepted it. Just keep on at them.
Though to be honest the stuff has gone way down in wuality recently and therefore is way overpriced. I have as such stopped using them now. (I regard tesco stuff to be of better (or the same) quality!)0
