Nectar toolbar annoyance

Options
I am trying to collect nectar points at Zooplus.com, which is a relatively new nectar estore. I go through the nectar site as you are supposed to do, via the zooplus link, but when I get there the little button on my toolbar turns grey and says 'points unavailable'.

I have tried contacting nectar but am being ignored. Can anyone with experience please advise at to whether my points will still be awarded? I am logged in and cookied so I am wondering if perhaps the button does not turn green as it should simply because zooplus is a new nectar partner?

Thanks all - they have a good deal on at the moment and I have to make quite a big purchase so don't want to miss out!

I have the same problem. I don't think it's anything to do with the particular estore you mention. I have had problems the same as you describe but with eBay and Expedia.
One avenue in explored led to a suggestion that I had been using the Nectar search toolbar inappropriately. I wonder whether they have blacklisted my account. This came to mind after finding a link about my use of the search facility. I had switched my usual intensive Google searching to Nectar/Yahoo when they offered enhanced points benefits for using their toolbar.
I have just emailed Nectar again with a request for help.
I did also manage to find the details of the software which I believe is called Freecause.
I suggest you try emailing support at freecause with a query. I can't remember how I found out about their connection with Nectar. I tried to submit a direct link but anti-spamming rules won't allow it.

    Good luck.
