Cex won't answer my emails

Hi I'm new to this site as I didn't know what else to do,here's the problem I contacted CEX about my old mobile phone and they agreed a price and sent me a prepaid envelope. So I sent the phone to them on the 14/7/11 and I have not heard anything since I've tried emailing them with the order number they gave me but they wont answer me,I have a receipt for proof of posting and dont know what else I can try as I'm getting no reply from them!
thanx

  • write to them. send it recorded delivery.
  • They answered one of my emails last week quite promptly. If the price offered is no more than £42 you will be able to claim for loss in the post from Royal Mail (proof of postage is sufficient). Royal Mail will probably say they need to write to Cex to confirm non-receipt of the item; if you email Cex and ask for confirmation of payment for the phone or confirmation that it was never received they may reply confirming non-receipt. Royal Mail (when pushed) would accept that email confirmation and pay up what the agreed value. Should the phone be worth much more than that, then the letter option demanding payment by a certain date or you will be forced to issue legal procedings may produce something (I've never had to do that with Cex). However, in the latter case it would have been follish to send the phone without doing it by special delivery - then you would be able to prove receipt in case you need to sue.

Methinks your "old" phone is likely to fall into the first option. Check the email address:
