Hi, can anybody tell me if a financial organisation have to acknowledge receipt of a complaint/consumer questionnaire. I sent the halifax one using the template on here on 06/08/11, I also asked for a copy of the T&C's and copies of my statements, I received the T&C's and statements very quickly, but I heard nothing to confirm they'd received the complaint letter, despite them all being posted in the same envelope.

Hi Baz

The reclaim complaint you sent, should be a questionnaire as on step 3 below?
Is that the one you sent?
If not then complete this and keep copies for yourself as well.
You should otherwise receive a confirmation letter within a week or 2, if you have not then give them a ring, good luck.

Hi Dizzy Di...yes that's the one I sent...maybe time to give them a ring, they obviously got it, as it was in the same envelope as the T&C's and copy of statements requests.
