BT - worst customer service ever - phone number needed

Have spent I would estimate about 20 hours on the phone to BT in the past week trying to sort out various problems including mis-selling of their BT Vision and the fact they having taken two deposits from me for the one service. Depsite having a complaint reference it is proving impossible to get ANYONE to put me through to the correct department. Has anyone pleeease got a number for the complaints department. I know there have been some suggested in previous posts but they don't work.

Very frustrated - I left BT a while ago because of their appalling service and now I am remembering why - and deeply regretting coming back. But I'm stuck with them because they have a hundred quid of my money. :mad::mad::mad:

    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • Thanks but I want a phone number for the complaints department not a form that goes into the ether. I have been told that a 'manager' is dealing but no one ever is able to even find the correct department. Added to that the BT Broadband is so slow it is not usable - it is not my machine as it is slow on all three of my machines.

    Does any one have a PHONE NUMBER for the complaint department please?

    No such thing. BT run from various call centres and these are often segmentised by area and customer classification. There will be no directly diallable customer complaints number, you would need to be advised directly. In any event, you would beed BT Broadband complaints, you get a faster response on their Support Forum.
