WD TV Live Hub Media Center or other Hard Disk Media Players

Hi

I have a lot of Films/Tv shows on my computer and want to have them on a central external drive in order to access them either through laptops or tv.

Found this device http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00466IEXE/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_g147_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=05SMCTJ43DPTD22AZQJF&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294

Just wondered if anyone has used it and has any opinions at all? Or uses a similar product and setup at home

Thanks

:)

  • I have 3 media players that I use to watch films from hard drive on tv. I have the WD Tv Live which was around £80, the Asus O Play around £70 and a smaller Asus Mini around £55 which I use when I travel. All all good and fit for purpose. I don't try and connect to the internet, and I don't need HD quality, I just watch movies from my hard drive. There are lots of models on the market so you need to read the specs and google for some reviews. Iboum.com is a good website for listing all the models. AC Ryan do some good players.
