Tesco 'Real Food' offer

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the £5 offer is this week? Last week it was a chicken, tarragon, baby shallots, new potatoes, cream and rosemary for a fiver. My local tesco store didn't really advertise it well so I missed out on it, but hoping to do it this week if it's a good recipe/offer.

had a scoot about and i don't think they've updated the site with the cook along video yet but from the 4 ingredients that are showing for me, it looks like some sort of pork and apple dish. I get the feeling you'll be asked to move this from the grabbit board to the groceries board.

I don't think it's that, think it was where you can buy certain ingredients for a fiver, then there's a recipe on the website showing you how to make whatever it is lol

See my second post, i realised my mistake! We probably overlapped on posting at same time, lol

Interesting, when I tried the 'Buy all these ingredients' button it showed the pork as out of stock but suggested a substitute.... I wonder if they would then still honour the £5 deal?

Also I see the Creme Fraiche is on a two for deal, so wonder if you'd get that discount as well as the £5 one if you bought two?

A groceries board.... wow... that would be a great place for all this food stuff that isn't a glitch, I wonder if they'd implement that, oh wait.... they did!!!!!!!!!:T

I would say it definitely is a grabbit , the deal is a great offer and so was last weeks ( chicken, potatoes, cream, 2 different herbs and shallots for less than the price of what the chicken alonewould have cost....)

I wouldn't call this a "hot bargain" it's available for a week to anyone who goes into the store!!

What's the point of the groceries board then if not to put grocery offers etc on ???
