PPI policy number, where is it?

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times before, and I do apologize, I did a search but couldn't find the answer.
The questionnaire asks for a policy number of the PPI I'm complaining about. Do I have one and where would I find it? This is for a credit card.

Hi Jane
If you have any statements in relation to the account your complaining about, the account number is that of the agreement number, you can use that, or contact the business who should try tracking it down for you.
