Hi Martin
If a full time student with no employment, or not working for a certain amount of hours a week, the policy would be worthless.
I would in this case make a reclaim if this applies to you.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi Di - hope all is well!
Barclaycard rejected my complaint so im sending it to the ombudsman.
I was working 16hrs a wk whilst at uni and studying full time - would this be an issue do you think?

It would depend. If they made a misleading statement or the cover was not described clearly that might be considered a missale and Barclaycard would be at fault.
If, on the other hand, the information was clearly presented but you did not bother to read it that would be a mispurchase - and your fault.
You would not be entitled to have the consequences of your own errors redressed.0 -

I do not remember reading anything about the PPI in any information I got on the account.
Anyway the complaint has been sent to the ombudsman today so hopefully it will come back good.0 -

In that case, your complaint seems to be that it was added without your knowledge or consent.
When did you take the card out and when did you find out you had it?0 -

The account was open aug 2005. Nothing was said what would exempt you from ppi.0
