  • I'm in but today is at best a bit bitty!

DS has to go to hosp - they are ringing this am to tell him when.
DD2 seems to have some sort of tummy bug.

Boss wants us in at 10am for an assembly - thus completely disorganising my morning - for no extra pay of course.....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • Good morning everyone!

    Happy Birthday to Valli

I'm having to deal with a particularily intractible frog :mad::mad: but if the young lady in question doesn;t get in touch with me soon, her stuff will be going into the garage to rot over the winter :p (no its not DD - she's being an :A )

Going to get DS off to college, then start on my list :j

  • I'm only aiming for Level 1 this week and a lot of that will be with the aid of the Cleaner (it is times like these which explain why she hasn't been sacked). I get very bad PMS (Dr is helping but says it will take a while to get dose of medication right) and this is inevitably followed by severe cramps. So I've done Morning Routine today and made sure the house is picked up so Cleaner can clean tomorrow. I've sorted the fridge - which is rather disgusting now I look at it properly - and will leave her a note to do something about it tomorrow.

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Clean floors - CLEANER TO DO TOMORROW
Descale kettle and iron - SOFT WATER AREA
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/STRIKE], clean out any spills or grots in there! - CLEANER TO DO TOMORROW
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    Extras
Wipe window sills and clear away any gibble
    HHI
clear a hotspot - well at least try to!
empty and scrub out cutlery drawer and put everything back tidily!

I use cheap (13p a bottle) value vinegar, pour the whole bottle into kettle bring to boil then leave to stand for 10 mins, empty out and rinse thoroughly. job done

I dont like boiling it - i think it makes the whole house stink...and I dont like vinegar :( I just leave it in the kettle overnight and then tip it out. Rinse thoroughly and boil a full kettle and tip out...

xxJoxx~ are you sure that missing jumper is not mine??, I have lost a black v neck jumper and cannot find it anywhere, grr

Ive stopped using my ironing lady as I was convinced she wasnt giving me all of my clothes back. Ive found one - but am still convinced that I gave her a tan coloured cardigan from next which I havent had back and it is honestly not in this house.... Maybe she has your jumper too. :rotfl:

    Happy Birthday Valli :D xx

Ok - lunches done, LO ready for school, computer wont switch on again...

Sink full of hot soapy bubbles... WM half full, need to round run the baskets upstairs to see if I can fill it.

Off on the school run shortly, then to the PO with some ebay gems. Then fly fly fly for me today!! HHC as soon as I get back xx
