Hi folks,
Hope you all had good weekend, I'm in, and Iv'e got tomorrow off work, so hopefully going to do lots!
Thanks for the lists, and hello to new folk!

Hey all,
I have managed today to go through my chest of drawers and wardrobe with my sister. Ive filled two binbags with stuff for Ebay which my sister has taken home to list for me and Ive got a load of stuff here to get on with too. I also filled a bag for the bin and bag for the charity shop.
I even parted with shoes and handbags
There is still some stuff to be sorted but its definitely better than it was.. Knicker drawers have also been done and anything past its best/doesnt fit has all gone too.
Smellies have been relooked at and there was a few things to go from there, but since I went through them so ruthlessly not so long ago there wasnt a lot to chuck... Most of what I have is all Elemis and Clarins and Lancome etc, so I want to keep them
I did find a cardigan however that was lost...and I found my missing notebook, which has all the details in it for the car for me to compile my letter, so now I have no excuses not to get on with my letter tomorrow!!!
Hugs to those in need and welcome to the newbies :hello:
See you all tomorrow folks xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Splats are snoring as if they had never seen a flea in their lives. I, however, am spinning round at every itch and twitch just in case it's another one of the so and sos.
However, we had a lovely pork casserole thingy tonight (basics piggy bits, onion, peppers, carrot, potato, a tin of toms and some cabbage leaves tucked in the top of the pan), and Minion has been thinking very unchildlike thoughts about Hugh Jackman in Wolverine. I know this because she was blushing and trying to hide a rather adult looking smile as he ran around brandishing his pecs.
[rant alert]
We have started a new system for the bins this week, thanks to the local council. Now we only get the main bin (where cat litter has to go) emptied fortnightly (rather them than me _pale_), and the green box (paper and card - no plastic) is now the blue box and collected on week 1 with plastic, except plastic they don't want. Then the blue box (glass and bottles - no metal) is now the green box and collected on week 2 with metal. Unless the metal consists of broken tools, utensils, cutlery, wire or other waste larger than a tin. And we have a mini canister indoors which has to be filled with their own particular brand of plastic bag at all times and emptied into a midi black bin outside with all foodstuffs, including meat, teabags and bones, to be collected weekly. Oh, and garden waste (as long as it isn't vegetables or fruit or salad, which should go into the mini and midi bin, or a bit big, or come from a tree/bush) has to be put into a special own brand bag to be left for a fortnight to ferment until they collect it/refuse to collect it because it's fermenting, but they only empty the bag, you have to retrieve from down the road and wash it, even though they've ripped it because they cost a pound each. And the collections stop in 3 week's time until summer. Oh, and you can leave clothes if they are in a plastic bag on top of the blue or green boxes.
I am so confused already. Especially when the only way to get rid of anything else is to take it to the tip. Where you can't get in if you don't have a car.
[considers bagging all stuff up in the cat litter bags and hoping they aren't stupid enough to open one to check]
Oh well, these things are sent to convince us they are working for the council tax, I suppose.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
