I am here, thanks for the lists. I will be joining in this week where possible although already time seems to be slipping away from me.
We have just taken delivery of our wedding gift...a beautiful baby grand piano so our dining room is no longer that but finally the music room we moved here for. Hopefully now we can decide what furniture to put in there for storing our music so that it can function properly.
I think I have an hour until DH gets home so am going to to see what non-cleaning bits I can do from the lists. Will try doing this through the week and then together we can clean at the weekend as I don't have the time to do it all myself at the moment.
There seems to be a lot on the lists :eek:MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

DH and I are very much in the early stages of learning although we have both been musicians for years. Before now we have both had to practice at work but have always been interrupted so hopefully now we can begin to progress a bit more. Now all I have left to do is get DH the lovely wooden music stand I have been eyeing up for Christmas and then the room will be perfect.
I haven't managed to do anything on the lists yet, just rang CC company to ask why they hadn't closed my account after I asked them 2 weeks ago to do it. Also emailed the new build company to chase up £250 that they owe us. I CBA to fly now...I am far too lazy, I was more successful at this flying thing before I got married!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Never rains but it pours for Piggers, does it? Poor her and DS.
Well, the day started off with me fielding a call from the school attendance officer. I think she is used to people umming and err-ing - she makes statements rather than discusses things with parents. Not me
Explained to her that last week, after Minion attended school in the morning, her physio was compromised by the swelling caused by the walking, so at present, it is in her interests to not attend school for half days, but that, as soon as she improves, she will be back at school as normal. Also pointed out that Minion had never missed for than 2 days of school over any school year before the medical stuff reared its head.
Did another WM load and put some stuff into the sink to soak.
Then off for physio, which went quite well, as she has actually been taking some antiinflammatories this week.
Grabbed some salmon for dinner and came back via the library. She is most impressed by the central library compared to the old one we lived near.
Then back, emptied WM, loaded up again and cooked dinner. Salmon and sushi rice suitably demolished (at least it means very little in the way of washing up required)
Minion is now upstairs 'resting' (watching TV/playing on PS2/reading) and I am trying to not fall asleep on the sofa.
Oh well, Paediatrics appointment tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how long we're kept there with tests and whatnot this time, as I am sure the woman from school will be expecting Minion back before 12. As if. We'll be lucky to be out of there by 1.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Good evening
DH did ALL the ironing except 2 cardigans (which I did tonight!) :j We have an empty basket! (if you don't count what I took off the line earlier) It is still progress
Electrician came earlier. Just waiting for him to come back with a quote. I hope it is not silly money.
I don't do the kids' rooms anymore, so tomorrow I will catch up on yesterday's & today's lists, and paperworkI will also [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] encourage the kids to to their own rooms
