I've burnt my finger so the dishes will have to wait, DD's bed is stripped and the WM is on and I lost 4lbs at SW.

Afternoon all, i'm back in again this week...:) Started my new course on monday and i'm loving it, feeling very positive about it at the moment. Budget all done right up to december and it doesn't look as bad as i thought. :D

My sister went last wednesday to have her c-section but baby had moved so she got sent home. Went back to hospital on monday (her due date) and baby is head down, so it's the waiting game. Little rascal had been breech all along and then changed it's mind. :rotfl:

Hubby is abit up and down, he had a few rough days but i'm keeping him busy...;) he even cleaned the kitchen on monday while i was at my course. We've also started walking each morning roughly 2 miles, i think it helps us both. Hopefully we've turned a corner...:o

Rhys is now down for a snooze so we'll go and get some sticks cut, managed to go through loads already so need to keep the pile up. Then it will be ebaying tonight to pull in abit of extra cash.

    Valli Happy Belated Birthday.:bdaycake:
    Dusty Happy Belated Anniversary.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    2 x HHI done.

Now I'm going to tidy the MB as I still have a bit of mess to sort out from all my cupboard fling.

MIL popped in with some HM soup that she had made. That's my lunch sorted for tomorrow:). She sat and sewed the hem back up on DH's suit trousers and chatted to me as I got on with my ironing. She's worth her weight in gold:)
  • good afternoon :D

Had a nice lunch out with DH. When we got back DH did some more ironing, and has started to cut the grass (he has gone to pick the kids up from school now).

While he was doing that I have been busy in the LR. I have dusted, polished, cleared some clutter, and put away the crockery that had been left on top of the sideboard for a month or so  I am feling quite relaxed - as it is looking tidier, and I only have 1 to pick up from school, so I know I am going to have an easier afternoon than usual :)

the only dampener is that some idiot has decided to have a bonfire! It is a beautiful afternoon, with clear blue skies. I am sure I am not the only one with washing on the line! Selfish idiots!
  • Well it looks like DDs got the start of a stinky cold. Lots of runny noses and whining today. The plus side is that she's been extra tired and is now having a 2nd nap that she doesn't normally have. This leaves me free to do a bit of extra work. Got to muster up the energy to get dinner sorted, although not as rushed as usual because my 1st pupil (piano) of the evening has cancelled so I don't have to leave the second DH gets back.

This might sound very silly but how do you clean the filter on the washing machine? I have never ever done it before!
