How can I get rid of 'search suggestion' box?

in Techie Stuff
I have started to get a box in the bottom right hand corner of my screen saying search suggestion which blocks out part of the screen. Although it has a cross which would normally delete the box it fails to do it with this particular box. So if I google something I will get something like the following come up.
