Jet2 Holidays- Should I check in on-line?

First time travelling, as a package, with Jet2 Holidays. Going from East Midlands to Tenerife. What are the advantages of checking in on-line? Is it really any quicker as East Midlands only have one check in area for Jet2. We have two cases in total to check in.

I would not bother, it doesn't take that long to check in and i definately would not pay extra for the privalidge

its usually cheaper to check in online than at the airport, ive always found this anyway, and if you check in early enough youve got more chance of sitting together if theres more than one of you

Thanks for your quick replies. Didn't realise I would have to pay to check in...either on-line or at the airport as this holiday is a package. Have paid before when it was flight only. Off to hunt out the terms and conditions and I hate small print.

booking a Jet2 holiday automatically puts you on the airport check-in, however if you do check in online it does not offer any saving. OK, it should (when you check-in) allocate seats next to each other as the next available seats. If you want specific seats, possibly consider pre-booking and pre-paying for this. Alternatively, go through and pretend to make a booking, and look at the seating plan for the aircraft you are travelling on. if it seems heavily booked (with pre-booked seating), you may wanna consider prebooking your seats. however if its wide open, maybe just check in at the airport.
