Ppi starter help

Help...I have printed off the questionairre and started to fill in but I need the account numbers.(Possible 8 potential claims) Do I send a SARS letter and £10 to the loan companies? This is for loans but I also have 2 mortgages I need to get info on. Northern Rock and LLoyds have both returned with letters to say no chance as they were no regulated. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction as I do NOT want to lose any money owing to a PPI company I would rather do this myself. Thanks :o:question:

  • Hi and welcome.

Firstly, good luck with your complaints and well done for tackling it yourself. It's really simple once you get started.

Step one, write to or phone the companies to ask for the account numbers. Give them your full name, date of birth and the address(es) you lived at when you had the loans. Many of them will provide basic information for free, so you may only need to go down the SAR route for a few lenders.
