    We live in a democracy, hence you can argue anything you want in court.
    But as ignorance is no defense, "Ooh, I really had no idea I had to pay for the energy I used" will be brushed off the table by the courts a lot faster than you could put it on there.
    Your argument is utterly fatuous; I hope you know more about I.T. than you know about consumer law, or soon the lights will go out.
  • ignorance is no defence - unless the aggreement specifically states that the landlord is responsible for the energy , then the tennant is deemed responsible - this whole case stinks of BG trying it on
