Thanks to the poster on PepiPoo for this:-
Good article in the Sunday Times today re Shoal Enforcement, a whistleblower explains how they turn back the clocks on their digital cameras when photographing vehicles to falsely evidence the required 15 minutes of illegal parking before clamping.
Also reveals the (alleged) removal and theft of valid parking permits to enable them to clamp
The article says the the BPA will "investigate". Go on Mr Troy, show some backbone for a change

This is criminal behaviour (alleged), and should be investigated as such, and I don't mean by the BPA.0

What is this 15 mins? There are rafts of posts, and a watchdog film, of clampers clamping within seconds and no one has done anything about this.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

In one particular residential car-park any visitors are allowed 15 minutes to go and get a parking permit. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Part of the story can be read on the Mikiverse blog.
Seems as though some of the issues have been reported to the police. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
I wish them well with plod. 'thats a civil issue Sir'.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Don't forget. This allegation originates within the same police area as has already charged one of Shoal's operatives in relation to the clamping of a vehicle from HM the Q's prop team. There might just be someone in Portsmouth prepared to take the case on. Besides, Shoal has done nothing to endear itself locally and is unlikely to have too many friends.bromsgrovebarry wrote: »I wish them well with plod. And Portsmouth Police & Council have acted against a clamper before:
First ASBO for a rogue clamper, 2004
QUOTE
A council spokesman said police and council officers had spent six months building the case against Miller, who ran the firm Aquarius Securities.

Surely they will be able to investigate Shoal's 'alleged' offences, they know it's not a civil matter.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Live in Portsmouth, and do remember the Miller case.
Not sure if they have the resource as much now, or willpower.0
