ppi repayments and benefits

hi i have just got a repayment of my ppi , and im on benefits will i have to declare it, and will i be able to spend it as i want thanks ron

approx 4.500 but soliciters fee 30% to come off on pension credit and i/b and dla0

Not quite!
If it's under 6000, and does not take you over the 6000 capital threshold for all your capital, then it's exempt.
(anything you have that you can sell, or get the rights through the courts to sell, with some exceptions such as your house and personal posessions)0 -
