Im looking to buy complete, but iv also asked overclockers to build me one and recommend a complete...just in case.

I could do with a complete one really. maybe im spending too much to buy a complete, and get one built...might get more bang per buck, if you know what i mean. Just recommend what you think would be best for that budget...aslong as its a core2duo (e6300) will do, and a decent graphics card (nvidia geforce 73/7600 should play FarCry pretty well...and run some multimedia apps like director) with a decent motherboard...i wont be looking into overclocking much, thats why i dont really need a overclock heavy or sli board. Something with 16*PciEx, runs at full speed should do the trick.

Hopefully im not going round in circles lol!

DELL and ZooStorm have PC's going...ZooStorm is for £599 inc VAT n Shipping
DELL theres two, the XPS without monitor...£629 and the E520 which if i upgrade the moitor and graphics to 7300gs comes to about £600

    Thanks

Well for that sort of budget, you should be able to get something quite good. Personally Ive found that the collective knowledge over at the Guru3D forums takes some beating, but obvioulsy if you do spec it all yourself, it might be difficult to find a company who use the exact bits that you want.

Total : £461.47 from overclockers.co.uk (since you seem to like them)

You also need a gfx card ontop of that, you know which ones are best and how much you are prepared to stretch your budget.
If you do go for a 7300gt, the ddr3 ones are alot faster, but do cost a lot more.

plus a £16 Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) which I forgot to add on.

    Or how about this?

    http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ci.asp?sku=10093

upgrading the graphics to a Gainward 7600GT takes it to £574.

Or have a look at PCspecialist. Their prices are pretty decent
