Can I get a refund on face creams?

Hi,
I have just purchased (from superdrug), a 'natural' range cleanser, toner and moisturiser, 97% natural and free from chemical nasties.
Yesterday I used the moisturiser only, and got a small rash on my cheekbone. Today I used cleanser, toner and moisturiser and have quite a bad rash just under my eye.
I have not put any of the products anywhere near my eyes or around them.
The cost of these was about £18.
I don't normally suffer any adverse reactions to beauty products, can I get a refund as these products are advertised suitable for sensitive skin?
Thanks QL

No idea. If sealed, don't see why not. Best thing to do is give them a ring.Smile, why not.0

Thanks, but they are not sealed. I used them which gave me an allergic reaction to them. I've never had a reaction to any other face creams either natural or fully loaded with chemicals.
I just wondered if these were covered as faulty goods etc?0 -
Bit of a gray area. Best to give the shop a ring, and see what they'll do. They may give you a credit note, at their discretion?Smile, why not.0

Don't know about Superdrug, but I returned an open pot of cream to Boots when it gave me a rash. No refund, but vouchers.
No harm trying.:)
Why don't they do little test pots?:mad:0 -

drop the manufacturer an email and let them know. there might be an issue with the batch you got (and you might get some sort of freebie from them)helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
I don't think this would necessarily be down to "faulty goods".
I'm thinking this could be compared to food allergies, some people have allergies to nuts for example, but this isn't because the nuts are dodgy, but the bodys reaction to certain substances.
The manufacturer may offer a better remedy than retailer to protect the brand.0 -

i agree, but there's no harm in letting the company know anyway, incase they have similar emails or phone calls about the same batch.
anything you get from superdrug will be without prejudice and in goodwill, seeing as they can't re-sell the goodshelpful tips
