I have an Audi A4 Avant tdi 130 bhp 2003 that basically I want to get shot of!
I've had it about 15 months, and it is a LEMON!! 4 years old - rusty paint chips, a rust perforation coming through one door, faulty back window heater, climate control is broken too (over £1000 to fix), outer door handles losing paint (not through bumps etc, just peeling off), bashes very easily too. Very disappointing.
And even worse, I thought it would hold its value for trading in, but being offered £7500 roughly - peanuts!
I want to trade it in for a Japanese SUV - Xtrail or CRV I think (had a CRV before, wish I had kept it).0 -
£7,500 is about 40% of new cost, on trade-in, for a 4-year-old car with faults; I'd say that's pretty good.Debt at highest: September 2003 - £26,350
Debt now: £14,100
Debt free day: October 2008 :beer:0 -

They don't know it's got faults! Well - they'll only see what's obvious... and they don't ask...
Hence I'm trading it in not selling it to an individual..0
