£750 to re-plumb new bathroom - fair?

Hello :hello:

I recently had the worst cowboy plumber in the world fit my bathroom suite and make a mess of it. Pipes burst costing £thousands worth of damage (insurance claim pending).

Anyhow.......the bath, shower and sink need replumbing along with a towel heater. The first plumber used the wrong types of pipe and made joins behind tiles etc.

My new (quality) plumber has quoted £750 to replumb it for me. Is this fair?

I dont want to split hairs at this stage, obviously, quality is paramount but it just seems a little too steep. Am I just tight?

The worst thing for any tradesman is to go back over someone else's work, so the price would involve taking out most of the other plumbers work as well, so I would say the price is reasonable, as it would take between two to three days.

I think this is as good a comment as I could make, I completely agree.
