What are your percentages for things like.

Food
Rent
Mortgage
Petrol/Diesel
Remaining
etc

I'm interested to see what the averages turn out to be. Apologies if this has been done before, i've missed it. Just point me in the right direction if that is the case.

Also interesting would be what are your intended percentages for savings etc.

I think it's been done a few times. Income £14,000.

    Tax and NI - 15%
Food and other groceries - 17%
    Rent - 33%
    Council Tax - 6%
    Travel - 4%
    Gas/Electric - 4%
    Mobile/Landline and Broadband - 3%
    Water - 2%
    TV License - 1%
    Other stuff - 15%
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Well my income changes all the time, but I'll do it for this 3 based on my yearly average

    Income after tax 13k

Rent inc all bills (sky tv, water, council tax, broadband, landline, tv licence, energy bills) 42.92%
    mobile phone 2.12%
    Food 10%
    Travel 8.7%
    Remaining 36.26%

Doesn't seem that way lol. Maybe cause my income differs!
