Are there any hotels that sleep families of 6?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there are any hotels that allow 2 adults and four children into one room?

We are going abroad in August and have been trying to get an airport hotel for the few hours before we fly (flight leaves UK 6 am, but we live 5 hours away from airport, so thought best plan was to travel during the day and get a hotel for evening and get up early from there?!)

Our family is Hubby, Me, twins aged 10, daughters aged 9 and 4. The kids are no way old enough to go into a room on their own, adjoining rooms would maybe be an option, But what a cost!

Anyone with some good moneysaving advice or suggestions please??!!

Formule1 has rooms sleeps up to 3 each room with a single and double and are very cheap!! They are basic but generally clean. Have a look on web Formule1 on Google will sort ya!!

Thanks for the info, however they don't have any hotels in Edinburgh so it's back to the drawing board :think:

I have the same problem and as yet i haven't found a room large enough for all of us, we usually book 2 cheap travelodge rooms and split up me in one room with 2 children and hubby in the other, not sure about travelodge near to edinburgh airport though sorry

Perhaps we should go into the hotel business to accomodate ourselves and others like us!! lol

holiday inn express at livingston is only about 20 mins from edinburgh airport. its where i stay for an early flight

Book 2 rooms is the answer, which I could do at ANY hotel!

I'll keep hunting...

That is the answer.1 adult in each.
As Cumbrian Male says - Holiday Inn Express (Bathgate actually)
Theres also a Travelodge and Premier inn at Livingston. Both only 20 minutes from airport

I would just book 2 cheap rooms, and then split the accommodation with 1 adult in each room.

Bearing in mind if the flight is at 6am, check-in will be around 4am, so looking at being up at 3am.

There is also a Quality hotel at the airport https://www.choicehotels.com but you would need 2 rooms. How about trying https://www.laterooms.co.uk I had a quick look and found a city centre appartment sleeping up to 12 for £89 in january.
