Anyone any good with Photoshop 7?
I'm making a car icon for my satnav, I have the image I want but need to crop it so its a sqaure so that when I change the image size later it wont be out of shape. I've used pixlr before and you can select crop constraints as Aspect Ratio but I can't work out how to do this in Photoshop. Any ideas? Thanks

Use marque tool, at the top style: (select) 'fixed ratio' - from drop down.
in width and height put any number as long as they are both the same.
draw/drag marque tool over image to select area to keep. you can move this around with same tool.
Top menu -> Image --> Crop.
Save image

Alternatively, hold the SHIFT key when cropping, which should constrain the crop to square proportions.0
