Will Ryan Air have a sale on December flights?

Options
I need to book Ryan Air flights to travel at xmas time. The flights are already on the expensive side due to the time of year. What I'm hoping someone will know is if Ryan Air usually has a flight sale for this travel period? They have flight sales every month but not sure if they will for xmas travel?

Thanks

  • Yes, around 6 to 8 weeks is the best time to book normally. However, if certain peak dates are selling well, then they may just go up more.

Does the bear sh*t in the woods?
  • I wouln't think Ryanair will have a sale for popular destinations at one of the peak times during the year, they may have sales each month, but not on all flights, and destinations.

I meant specifically at xmas not the whole of December.

If you are flexible about when you can travel, fly on off peak days, flying to less well known and less popular destination, and can fly on the bad timing flights, you may find that these flights will go on sale.

Ryanair regards 21 Dec - 4 Jan as a peak period. You are less likely to get a cheap fare in this period and if you take a hold bag you'll have to pay £20 extra rather £15.

Yes, that's one way for a 15kg excluding all flights on the following routes: International Canary Islands (excluding Spanish domestic), All flights to/from Kos, Rhodes, Volos and Larnaca.

A 20kg bag in a peak period is £35 each way to the Canaries from the UK.
