If my store has crisp and batteries that ALL stores sell and there is a glitch even if the store in the town next to mine fix it.It is still a nationwide glitch
I'll try now shall I?
It's not a nationwide glitch if it's not working in ALL stores. Express stores sell items at a higher price so the glitches that work in an Extra are unlikely to work in an Express. ALL Extra stores may well sell batteries and crisps but some stores are more on the ball than others. The store that this has been found in was the same store that the jelly/custard glitch was found in and was the same store that worked right up until the promotional period ended. Other stores caught on quickly and fixed the glitch at store level, possibly before anyone on MSE or maybe even before Joe Bloggs caught on due to observant staff.
Maybe its semantics but we here only refer to nationwide glitches/offer if it's available in ALL stores. If it's not available in an Express then it's specific to a particular store. Maybe the offer is country specifc such as the first beer stampede in Scotland. Given their new legislation of alcohol, poor souls up there will no longer benefit from alcohol glitches (unless I heard wrong) so those kinds of glitches will not be nationwide even though Scottish stores sell the items.0 -
are these offers not a promotion? so the store will say the details of the promotion will it not? IF it is involved in the said promotion?0

1. WALKERS SENSATIONS (standard size) are £1.74 each but on offer 2 for £2 - I only bought two bags but the discount of £1.48 came off twice. I went back in again and bought two more just to check (different flavours from the first time) and the discount came off twice again! What made it better was I already had two of the "free bag" vouchers from Facebook!
2. DURACELL Ultra Power AA batteries 4PK (bar code ending 002562) - these are £4.47 each but buy one get one free. I bought 4 x 4pks and on checking my receipt, it has applied two separate discounts - one for buy one get one free, and a second for buy one get the cheapest free - in total, 4 x 4pks of batteries cost me £4.47. Went back in again to check if it worked on mixing AA and AAA but this does not work - I put through a second lot of 4 x 4pk AA and it worked out again at a total of £4.47.0 -

Didn't work last night in my Norwich Extra for the sensations, just the 1 £1.48 came off, as I had a voucher from facebook it worked out as 2 packs for 8p though, so not complaining!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

If it is an OFFER that the store is included in unless it has been noticed that someone has taken advantage of and then has been changed by the staff in that store then it makes no difference what the store is or where it is and will be a nationwide glitch0
