you're missing the point.

i know that tesco sell crisps and batteries in pretty much all their stores.

however, some glitches work in specific stores and other glitches are nationwide.

I'm not missing the point or the crisp or the batteries, too many doubting minnies on this site. If it's a popular everyday item like still for sale crisp and batteries etc it will be nationwide as the same bar codes will go through the same system tills as ALL the tesco's

Fat Wallet Tescos glitches are very random sometimes only working certain stores such as Extra, Express, Metro etc or sometimes area specific or country specific! Thats what is being said!

This happened with the jellies and custard! Some stores fixed it manually and others let it run!

Nobody is being moaning minnies!

Unfortunately this is not 100% true... stores definately DO have the ability to override and change prices specific to that store.

If you check post 6 of this thread, it doesn't seem to work in all stores ....

I only have an express store and glitches dont work the same on their tills

Think you are spot on. Look at the Parazone offer this week, some stores scanned at £1.15, some at 60p and some at 30p bogof. Bleach is as common as batteries and crisps I would think.
